Born in Norway and raised in England, British soprano Lottie Greenhow has enjoyed a rich and varied career as a singer across the UK and internationally.

Educated at Cambridge University, where she was a prize-winning academic and choral scholar, Lottie now studies with Carolyn Sampson. She is also active as a multi-instrumentalist, Norwegian music specialist and Early Years music teacher. She lives in Bedford with her husband, tenor Harry Bagnall, and their three young children.
Lottie received critical acclaim for her performances as Hardanger Fiddle and vocal soloist on Erland Cooper’s triptych of Orkney-inspired albums: Solan Goose, Sule Skerry and Hether Blether.

With Cooper, Lottie toured a number of prestigious venues and festivals including The Barbican, Queen’s Hall Edinburgh and WOMAD and also performed live on several BBC Radio broadcasts.

Lottie is an experienced choral singer and director, and a former choral scholar at Christ’s, Jesus and Clare Colleges, Cambridge. For seven years she was the regular soprano with the professional choir of St Magnus-the-Martyr, London Bridge, where she was also Director of Music. She has also sung with a number of other professional choirs across London and the rest of the UK. She is a member of (and frequently a soloist with) the professional choir Luminatus.
