Born in Norway and raised in England, British soprano Lottie Greenhow has enjoyed a rich and varied career as a singer across the UK and internationally.

Educated at Cambridge University, where she was a prize-winning academic and choral scholar, Lottie is also active as a multi-instrumentalist, Norwegian music specialist and Early Years music teacher. She lives in Bedford with her husband, tenor Harry Bagnall, and their three young children.

Lottie received critical acclaim for her performances as Hardanger Fiddle and vocal soloist on Erland Cooper’s triptych of Orkney-inspired albums: Solan Goose, Sule Skerry and Hether Blether.

With Cooper, Lottie toured a number of prestigious venues and festivals including The Barbican, Queen’s Hall Edinburgh and WOMAD and also performed live on several BBC Radio broadcasts.

Solo concert engagements include Handel Gloria (OAE), Chants d’Auvergne (MK Sinfonia), Mahler’s 4th Symphony (Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra), Peer Gynt (Truro Choral Society), Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle (St Ives Choral Society), Haydn Creation & McCartney Liverpool Oratorio (Bedford School Choral Society), Messiah & St John Passion (Wetherby Choral Society), Faure Requiem (City Chorus), Brahms Requiem (Newnham College, Cambridge), Vivaldi Gloria & Mozart Requiem (Doncaster Choral Society), and Jenkins The Armed Man (Eagle Choir). Operatic credits include Phyllis Iolanthe (Buxton Opera House & Rocket Opera), Second Woman Dido & Aeneas (Westminster Opera), title role Poppea (OperaZone) and Suor Genovieffa Suor Angelica (New London Opera Players & Empyrean Ensemble). She is a member of the professional choir Luminatus with whom she frequently also acts as soloist.
